Meet Dr. Mason
Dr. Mason Welch, DDS
Dr. Mason Welch brings a calm, upbeat approach centered on children and their families.
Dr. Mason earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
His advanced training includes pediatric dentistry at Augusta University's Dental College of Georgia, where he cared for children in a dedicated pediatric program.
At Soft Shores, Dr. Mason carries forward a family tradition of thoughtful pediatric care while bringing his own warm energy to every visit.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, reading books, and building LEGO.
Continuing care
Dr. Jared Welch, DDS
Dr. Jared Welch continues to care for Soft Shores families with decades of pediatric experience and an easygoing sense of fun.
An Arizona native, Dr. Jared earned his dental degree at the University of Colorado and completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry through the University of Nevada School of Medicine and Sunrise Children's Hospital.
Away from the office, he enjoys traveling, biking, golf, and time with his family.

Office Manager
Lyric
Lyric is our Office Manager and helps keep the office running smoothly while making sure every family feels welcome from the moment they walk through our doors. She has over seven years of experience in pediatric dentistry and loves creating a positive, comfortable environment for both our patients and our team. Outside of the office, Lyric enjoys being the “fun auntie,” snuggling her two puppies, playing pickleball with her husband, and baking for family and friends!
Lead Dental Assistant
Brittany
Brittany brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field to our team. As a mom of five, she loves working with children and helping them feel comfortable and confident during their visits. Brittany has a background in elementary education, which has helped shape her ability to connect with kids and families. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and all things Harry Potter!
Dental Assistant
Emilie
Emilie is a caring dental assistant with several years of experience in pediatric dentistry. She graduated from Phoenix Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting and loves helping children feel safe and comfortable during their dental visits. Her goal is to make each appointment a positive experience while helping kids build healthy habits that last a lifetime. Outside of the office, Emilie enjoys going to the lake, spending time with friends and family, and shopping!
Dental Assistant
Jaslyn
Jaslyn is a compassionate dental assistant who loves helping children feel comfortable and welcome during their visits. She completed her dental assisting education through a two-year program at EVIT and is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with even more of our patients and families. Jaslyn enjoys helping kids build confidence in their smiles and develop positive feelings about visiting the dentist. Outside of the office, she enjoys thrifting, spending time with friends and family, and coloring!
