Pediatric Dentists

Jared Welch, D.D.S.

Voted Top Pediatric Dentist (2014-2020)

Dr. Welch is a native of Arizona. He started his undergraduate work at Ricks college in Idaho, and finished at the University of Arizona. He then attended the University Of Colorado School Of Dentistry followed by the University of Nevada School Of Medicine Sunrise Children’s Hospital, for his specialty training in pediatrics. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the Arizona Dental Association. He is also a member of the AAPD and Arizona Chapter. Dr. Welch loves dentistry and is passionate about providing every patient with the best possible experience.

Dr. Welch now makes his home in Gilbert with his wife Bridget and five children: Mason, Brigham, Steven, Kortney and Dallin. His interests include traveling, biking, golf, and spending time with his family. 

Matt Herring, D.M.D.

Dr. Matt is a native of Arizona. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho, Dr. Matt attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine for his doctoral degree. He also completed his two-year postdoctoral residency in pediatric dentistry at the same school. Dr. Matt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He is also a member o the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists Central Arizona Dental Society (CADS), and the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AZAPD). He maintains his certification in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). 

He has a conservative approach towards dentistry and prefers to retain as much of the original tooth structure as possible. His top priorities are keeping his patients safe, helping them to have a good experience, and finding the best solutions for their dental needs. He currently lives in Gilbert with his wife and their four children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys biking, Legos, Star Wars, singing, and learning how to do new things. He speaks English and Japanese.
